Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Impulse Mirror is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

What you can expect

The app is a personal-awareness tool. It is not a medical, clinical, or mental-health service, and nothing in it is professional advice. It does not block apps or guarantee any change in your behavior. There is no account to create.

The subscription

Most of Impulse Mirror is free: tracking, reflecting, your mirrors, and your journal run entirely on your device and always will. The one paid feature is the weekly review — a short piece of writing about your week, produced by an AI model that costs money to run. That’s what Impulse Mirror Pro pays for.

Billing. An optional auto-renewable subscription, monthly (US $1.99) or yearly (US $14.99) — your local price is shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment goes through your Apple Account, and it renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Cancelling and refunds. Cancel any time in your App Store settings or from Settings → Subscription in the app; it keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and the reviews you already have stay on your device. Refunds are Apple’s to grant — request one from the app or at reportaproblem.apple.com.

One device per week. Your weekly review is written on one device each week. Everything free works on every device you install the app on.

If a week fails. The weekly review depends on our server and an AI provider. If a week genuinely can’t be written, the app says so honestly rather than substituting something generic. We may retry, but we can’t promise every week.

Your data is yours

Everything you write and reflect on stays on your device, with one exception you control by subscribing: when the AI writes your weekly review, that week’s reasons are sent to the AI provider, which must keep nothing and train on nothing. Because your data lives on your device, a device backup is the only copy — we cannot recover anything for you if you delete the app. The Privacy Policy is the authoritative account.

Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for the Shortcuts automations you create on your own device. Don’t misuse the app or attempt to disrupt it for others. That’s the whole list.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves; the latest version always lives here. Material changes to the subscription will be announced in the app before they take effect.
